Rory Connaughton Sr. 88, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday January 13. He is finally reunited with his beautiful son, and beloved dog, Kassi. Predeceased in death by his son, Rory Jr., he is survived by his wife of 56 years, Carol. Also surviving is his son Sean, daughter in law Christine, daughter, Sheila, grandsons Rory, Gavin and Connor who he adored. Born in Athleague, Roscommon, Ireland, he moved to New York in 1949 and worked as a carpenter for the NYC Board of Education for 45 years. May he rest in peace, "Fuzz", "Poppy", Dad.
