Nancy Margaret Ford

Nancy recently celebrated her 91st birthday with family and friends at the traditional July 4th barbeque and pool party. Born in Brooklyn, NY she met James Richard Ford there when he was stationed with the Navy. He was soon deployed to the Korean War and they maintained a love letter correspondence. They married shortly on his return from the war. Nancy was a long-time resident of Great Kills, Staten Island and a parishioner at St. Claire’s parish. She was active in the Holy Child senior group until her move to assisted living in Ossining, NY. Prior to her retirement, she was a branch officer at Manufacturers Hanover Trust in New Dorp, Staten Island. In addition to her children Deborah M Ford, James R Ford and Eric Yusstein , she is survived by three granddaughters Jessica, Amanda and Leah and great grandson Jason, as well as daughters-in-law Karen Ford and Elizabeth Kahn.
