Michael DeJoseph

March 15, 1955 - February 26, 2022

Michael DeJoseph died suddenly and peacefully on February 26, 2022 with the love and comfort of his family around him. He was 66 years old. Michael was born in the Bronx on March 15, 1955, the son of Alfred and Thelma DeJoseph. He graduated from Yorktown High School in 1973 and then went on to a double major in Broadcasting/Communications and English Literature at SUNY Oswego. Michael spent many years as a sales executive for Zee/McKesson Corporation, Verizon, and Halstead Quinn Fuel Oil Company. He also enjoyed side jobs as a bartender and limo driver. Throughout all his work, he relished talking to people and making connections. Michael was a lifelong Beatles fan and collector. He also took great pride in his family and was willing to make great sacrifices for them. He was a devoted father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He is survived by his mother Thelma (Yorktown Heights), siblings Linda Haines (Chris) of Ridgefield, CT, Kathy Orza (Paul) of Pleasant Valley, NY, and John DeJoseph (Donna) of Brookfield, CT, many nieces and nephews, and two daughters, Rebecca and Michelle. Yorktown Funeral Home will hold the wake on Wednesday, March 2 from 4-8 pm. A mass will be on Thursday, March 3 at 10:30 am at St. Patrick's Church in Yorktown Heights.
