    Joseph G. Alicea

    September 1, 1947 - November 13, 2019

    Joseph G. Alicea of Mohegan Lake passed away on November 13, 2019. Joseph was born on September 1, 1947 in Puerto Rico to Jose & Carmen Alicea. Joseph served honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He married Ivette Maldonado on Dec. 7, 1985. Joseph worked as the Director of Financial Aid for 39 years for Hostos Community College retiring in 2015. He is survived by his wife Ivette, daughters Amanda Lee Alicea, Emily Ann Alicea, brothers Victor Alicea, Vincent Miranda and a sister Maria Alicea. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Vietnam Veterans of America in memory of Joseph.
