Harry L. Dean Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Harry L. Dean of Yorktown Heights passed away on June 21, 2022 at the age of 86. Harry was born in Stamford, NY on May 7, 1936 to Kenneth and Virginia Dean. He served honorably in the United States Marine Corps from 1955 to 1959. He spent over 46 years working as a butcher with the AandP before retiring. On July 6, 1963 he married the love of this life, Judy Carozza. Harry and Judy have been living in Yorktown Heights for the past 13 years where they moved to be close to both their children and grandchildren. Harry was a mainstay in the area where he could be seen at all his grandchildren's sporting events, shows, concerts, etc. He was the type of guy who would stop and talk to anyone, and so often did. Within minutes of talking to him, you would think you have known Harry your whole life. He was honest and genuine and fiercely devoted to his family. Most recently, if he wasn't doing errands with his wife around town, he spent his free time with his friends at the Jefferson Village social club where he lived. Harry is survived by his wife Judy, son Christopher and his wife Regina, daughter Julie Ann Power and her husband Kevin. Also survived by 5 grandchildren Zachary, Frank, Emily, Dominick and Shane. Family and friends will honor Harry's life at the Yorktown Funeral Home on Thursday from 4 to 8pm. A mass of Christian burial will be Friday 10am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital stjude.org would be appreciated.
