Eileen Boylan of Yorktown Heights, NY, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2019 surrounded by her family. Eileen leaves behind her sons and daughters, Tommy Boylan, Eileen Boylan, Christine Boylan, Mary Boylan, Bette Boylan, Stephen Boylan and Jacqueline Boylan Campbell, eight grandchildren, Jeff Andruschat, Tim Andruschat, Kelly Boylan, Adam Boylan (Amanda), Erin Boylan, Will Boylan (Cassandra), Alexandra Carmona (Daniel), Thomas Campbell, nine great-grandchildren, an older brother Jackie Fogarty, sister-in-law Mary Gleason, brother-in-law Frank Morris, a very large and loving family of nieces and nephews, and dear friends, Mary and Frank Wortmann. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Tom Boylan, her daughter Kathleen Boylan, her parents, Mamie and James Fogarty and her sisters, Dorothy Lawler, and Joan Morris. Eileen grew up in New York City, NY. She and Tom were married in 1946 after Tom returned from being stationed in Guam in the Army. Following their marriage, Eileen and Tom moved to Brooklyn, where they started their family, and later moved to the Bronx. In 1956, with their four children they moved to Yorktown Heights. While living in Yorktown Heights and raising seven children, Eileen became involved in Saint Patrick’s Church, and volunteered at Northern Westchester Hospital and a Women’s shelter. Over the years, Eileen held positions as: a real estate agent, a medical office assistant for several local doctors, an office assistant in the business office at Northern Westchester Hospital, and a travel agent for many years, where she met her very close friend, Judy Antonucci. Eileen’s love for travel took her and Tom to many places, including several trips to Hawaii. Eileen will be remembered best for her generosity and love of her family and friends, which she treasured dearly. She thanks God and the Virgin Mary for the beautiful gift of life that she enjoyed so much. So rest in peace dear Mom and good friend. Thank you for all you have done with your caring heart to make a difference in our lives. A Mass in celebration of Eileen’s life will take place on May 9, 2019, 10:00am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, 1377 E. Main Street, Shrub Oak, NY. Burial will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery at 10 West Stevens Avenue, Hawthorne, NY. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in memory of Eileen.
