Everything ran so smoothly and with such grace. Even the guests stated that not only was it a beautiful funeral home but that they had everything covered, even down to the little details of mints, waters and tissues throughout the room and foyer. Dear Anthony & Company, I just wanted to write a quick note acknowledging that the Yorktown Funeral Home is the best in the area. We actually had time to “shop around” as we were pre-planning our very sick father’s funeral. Once executed, your place was simply perfect in every way. There was not even a “hiccup” during the entire process from start to finish. You and your group made a very difficult day manageable as well as beautiful. The rooms are inviting and my father looked fantastic and at peace for the first time in a year. We thank you profoundly for being so willing to accommodate us in every way possible (which goes a long way during a time of such stress!). This past week I have been to the wake and funeral of a very dear friend, Mrs. Barbara L. Stofko. I have not been to your funeral home before this and didn’t know what to expect. From the moment I walked in I was greeted in a most warm fashion and taken to the room/s where the family were receiving guests. What I saw was exceptional care, kindness and thoughtfulness you and Eric showed to everyone there. I was very impressed with how you made sure the mass cards were carefully collected, your constant presence made me feel that if anyone needed anything, you were there to be of assistance. As we were leaving the wake, It had started to rain hard and Eric quickly got an umbrella and walked myself and others out to their cars. It was very considerate and I thank him very much. I was even more impressed with how the funeral home handled the trip from the church to the cemetery. Their were so many cars going that it was impossible to keep up with them, but you did. You had someone wave on the cars at Routes 202 & 35. And again at the cemetery you were directing cars and you handed out flowers..a very lovely and meaningful way to say good-bye since Barbara loved flowers. And then handing out water bottles on an exceptionally hot day, was extremely impressive. You thought of everything to make the mourners and family a little more comfortable in their grief. I wish you the best of luck in your business. I will not forget the way we were treated and I will recommend The Yorktown Funeral Home to others. Sincerely

It has been a few months since my mom has passed away. As I look back on her wake and funeral, it was truly a celebration of a life well lived.
