John Rocco Jordano of Mahopac passed away on August 11, 2012.  John was born in Mt. Vernon to John and Emelia Jordano on August 26, 1948. He worked as the Director of Nursing at the Jewish Home and Hospital in the Bronx. John retired in 1993.  He is survived by his daughter Michelle Gervasi, son in law John, son John Jordano, two brothers Paul and Robert and a sister Carmela Schultz. Also survived by four grandchildren Gianna, Angelina, Michael and John. Family will receive friends at the Yorktown Funeral Home on Tuesday August 14, 2012 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. Mass of Christian burial Wednesday August 15, 2012 at St. John the Evangelist at 11am.
